Traditional Window Cleaning Methods & Ladder Work

In order to create a good all-round window cleaner, BDM first trains their window cleaners in the traditional method, byway of cleaning windows with a chamois (Goatskin) & scrim (coarse linen) moving them onto the squeegee/Applicator in the next stage. One would be surprised how many times during a days work when these methods prove to be a benefit, not only to the window cleaner but also to the customer.

Combined with the ladder the traditional method of accessing windows at height our window cleaners have a solid foundation in all aspects of commercial window cleaning. Ladders (when used safely by trained window cleaners) are still widely used within the commercial window cleaning industry.

Confined spaces and places where there are many obstructions, still call for the use of the ladder to reach spots where machinery is inaccessible. The Ladder method also allows the window cleaner to clean the window sills and frames etc: that other methods would miss. Our window cleaners are trained in all other factors to be considered when using ladders such as adverse weather conditions, uneven ground and slippery surfaces.
